Braille Art

 EYES is one of a highly successful series of mixed media work under the banner "Braille Art". It is tactile art that is accessible to sighted and vision impaired viewers. This work is 485mm x 270mm and is a mix of the written word and the braille word for EYES. One set of sighted eyes casts a glance over two eyes with impaired vision. Of course a glance is not enough, we should be turning our attention to the work of assisting the visually impaired.. There is much still to do. A striking feature of the work is the play of light and shadow as light moves around it. In exhibition at ARTSOUTH GORE
