Winter is not usually severe in Dunedin, but every so often we have a snow fall. We had a double dose this year when our painting weekend in Flock Hill was presented on the Sunday with a mantle of the white stuff, and a week or so later we had a second shot back home in Dunedin.

View from my home studio Check out the great views from around the house when we woke up to a beautiful snow covered landscape at home in Dunedin the other day.	This was a day to stay home. Traffic came to a standstill and the choice was enjoy the snow outside, or light the fire and enjoy a day of painting. I chose a bit of both.
