This Townscape, "Cafe Culture", is one of a series I have done of city life in Dunedin. I painted this watercolour of the Octagon in Dunedin where the cafe scene has spilled out into the street and has created a vibrant and lively place to be. Dunedin swells with young people when the Otago University term begins and 20,000 students filter into the night and day scene of the city. This work measures 148mm x 210mm.
